Choosing a favourite cartoon is always tough, especially when so many of them shaped our childhood and still manage to lift our mood today. But if I had to pick the ones closest to my heart, *Tom and Jerry* and *Donald Duck* instantly stand out.
There’s something timeless about their humour, mischief, and exaggerated yet innocent chaos that makes them endlessly enjoyable, no matter how many times we watch them.
Tom and Jerry has the ability to make us laugh without a single spoken word. The creativity, timing, and imagination that go into every chase scene showcase a level of storytelling that feels both simple and brilliant.

Donald Duck, on the other hand, is pure Disney charm. His grumpy voice, adorable frustration, and emotional outbursts make him incredibly relatable. The way Disney crafted his personality—slightly chaotic but full of heart—shows a deep understanding of human nature.
Watching him fumble, try again, and express every emotion so openly feels like a gentle reminder that it’s okay to be imperfect. These cartoons do more than entertain; they offer stress relief in the purest form. Their imagination takes us to playful, exaggerated worlds where problems are temporary and every conflict ends with a laugh. And hidden beneath the comedy is a subtle emotional touch that teaches us to accept life as it comes.
One of my favourite Donald Duck videos…

I totally agree with your choices. Tom and Jerry is a classic. Their wordless comedy is genius. Donald Duck is also fantastic. His grumpy but lovable character is so relatable. These cartoons are truly timeless. They always bring great stress relief. Thanks for sharing the video link! I will watch it now.
