In school days we had one teacher who used to be a teacher for academics, mainly science, biology subject.
There were lots of inter-school competitions like singing, poem recitation, debate, one act play, essay, play recitation etc. Some of them were individual and others were group.
I had a chance to participate in many of these competitions. This teacher used to be there in the whole journey of competition. Right from selecting a subject, writing down narratives and reciting them in public. She held our hand. She gave us the strength to place our thoughts in front of people. Instead of asking us to follow a method of mugging up, she encouraged creativity.
She use to write interesting Street plays. So she gave us an outlook to understand social problems. I still remember her talks and encouragement. Because of her, I think way of teaching should more of facilitating and not compelling or forcing. Such learning are for ever!!

When I was in school they separated creatives and academics, like you cant be both 🙄. As close as i could get to Drama class was our Humanities teacher. I loved her course!! She would be so proud of my little blog! 😂 She also taught us about architecture which is way i hate TicToc interiors! 😂🤣😂

Same in my case… She appreciated my satirical writing 😉
In general, people who can do both as in creatives and acads have better understanding of fantasy and reality… May be because of that I liked her…
