In school days, people often ask…” What do you like most about the school?” I used to answer… holidays…yay!!

In schools we have two long vacations one is summer vacation and other is Diwali…or we can call it winter vacation…winter just starts in October-November. In general in India even after schools we have 4 days holidays around this Diwali festival… Festival of lights!! First of all, I admire these days because they make everyone happy. They help us to be creative and enthusiastic, despite the way life is going.

This Diwali is all about the celebration of light over darkness. It symbolizes good triumphing over evil. It values transparency over filth and promotes action over laziness.

We make Diyas, which are beautiful small lamps made up of clay, to illuminate our homes and hearts. Each Diya is lovingly crafted, showcasing traditional artistry and culture. Additionally, we create vibrant Laterns that enhance the festive atmosphere, welcoming light and joy into our lives. Rangoli, a colorful design intricately created in front of our houses, serves not only as a decoration but also as a heartfelt invitation to guests and a representation of our rich heritage. Moreover, we prepare an array of delicious foods, each dish bursting with flavors, to share happiness and strengthen bonds with family and friends during special occasions.

I Enjoy this holiday most as it is a combination of Creativity and togetherness which truly embodies the spirit of celebration and community.
