This is not about any one person but my general observation.
In the United States, it’s common for people to greet each other with a friendly smile. This happens even when they are strangers.
This simple gesture is may be a part of their culture of openness and politeness. A smile is often accompanied by a casual “hello,” “hi,” or “how are you?” This happens whether walking down the street, entering a store, or passing someone in a hallway. They often acknowledge others with eye contact. They give a brief smile. This is especially common in smaller towns or suburban areas.
Isn’t it a sign of kindness and good manners. It helps create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, even in busy or unfamiliar places.
I think in we should follow such traditions instead of blindly following every other things which we otherwise do. A smile can break the ice and is often the first step toward conversation.
