Have you ever unintentionally broken the law?

In school days, teachers tried hard to give lessons. They explained how laws are made and followed. They also pointed out how naughty kids are breaking them. But those were the days when you explore things and make mistakes to learn so nothing was intentional except curiosity.

Once in our school, red footprints mysteriously appeared on a single tile in the large playground. We were determined to find out how and from where they had come. Formed a detective committee and searched all over the school even by bunking a few classes.

Then, we heard that the statue in the neighboring school seemed to move its eyes after 7 PM. So, we made a plan to stay back after school just to witness it. Of course, our mission wasn’t successful, but we put in a lot of effort!

Our ghost theory got dumped. However, teachers gave us quite a haunting experience for bunking the class and roaming in the school after school hours.

I remember one particular teacher’s class was unbearably boring, so before she arrived, we would open a specific window. The sunlight would reflect off a decorative lamp on the opposite building, causing a glare that left her puzzled.

She would spend at least ten to twelve minutes closing the window. She discussed it and calmed the class. This gave us the perfect way to pass the time. We were delighted! That again is not right because law says one should be guilty here after making such a mischief…but you know… school days…no intentions…
