Daily writing prompt
What do you complain about the most?

I am not the only one…I guess all mothers complain about Last minute rush for school…

How much you are ready and prepared…you have to rush for the school…and this is going on since generations.

Our family conversation on any school day be like,

The Night Before The day, Time: 10:30 PM

Mom: Hey, have you submitted your history-geography projects?

Son: Oh, that’s due tomorrow…

Mom: What do you mean?

Son: I have to submit it tomorrow.

Mom: I get that… but have you finished it?

Son: There’s not much to do… just one page on the Peshwa.

Mom: Write about Bajirao the first… you’ve read the book based on his life.

Son: No, everyone’s going to write about first Bajirao. I’ll write about someone else…
(then he starts thinking about various Peshwas)

Mom: Are you really going to wake up early tomorrow and finish it? Otherwise, do it now and then sleep.

Son: Tomorrow… easy! I’ll wake up early.

Mom: Do you need a picture or anything? At least find it now.

The Next Morning

Mom (to son): Hey, wake up! You still have to finish your project.

Son: Hmm, I’ll do it.

Mom (to dad): Tell him to get up right now, or he won’t finish his project on time.

Time: 8:10 AM (School time is 8:30)

Son: Good morning.

Mom: Have you finished writing?

Son: I’ve got everything here… I’ll write it now.

Mom: What’s this… you settled on Bajirao after all? What about the picture?

Son: Please print the pic… 5 cm * 7 cm Bajirao is on the desktop.

Mom: What’s this 7cm ? Why isn’t it square?

Son: Just print it… stop overthinking.

Mom: Are you sure this is even the right Peshwa? It could be Shivaji, Sambhaji, or a Mughal king. Someone is holding a flower. Do you want a battle scene on horseback, or is this fine?

Son: Just get any… 5*7.

Mom: This print isn’t coming out right… it’s super blurry.

Son: Huh…I’ll just draw it.

Little brother: Bro… Lionel Messi card… remember?

Son: Yeah… that’s not happening. I will try to get at least one of Vintage vibes….

Mom: When is this going to end?

Son: New binder, mat, and around 200 cards… if I order today, it’ll be next-day delivery.

Mom: I meant the project…

Son: Oh, that… yeah, here. (Starts drawing Bajirao by hand)

Mothers never understand priorities. Right?
