What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?

I don’t think I like any physical activity or excercise. So I will say I believe in few exercises which help me to keep moving.

I learnt various Yoga asanas when I was in school thirty years ago. We did it for one of the competitions. Only the ones who were able to do Sheershasana got selected. Me and two of my friends were among extras. We were allowed to practice with the whole group but we’re not in the team.

At the time of the competition, we sat outside and our friends and even the teachers laughed at us. That was the worst of the places you can be when your body doesn’t listen to you even though you work hard. Yes, these are one of the things that help us stay grounded. Just learn to respect our capabilities and remain calm.

I thank God for helping me stay flexible enough to perform these few asanas. Still, a long way to go for Sheershasana. But one day maybe I can 🙂

I am miles away from doing yoga for inner peace being a mother of two but strongly believe that at least taking time out for 20 minutes will help me be active.

Anyway my favourite activity is writing … blogging is quite a MindGYM 😉
