समुद्र वसने देवि पर्वतस्तन मण्डले ।
विष्णुपत्नि नमस्तुभ्यम पाद्स्पर्श क्षमस्व मे ।।

पर्वतरुपी अंग लाभलेली, समुद्राची वसने ल्यालेली हे विष्णुपत्नी (येथे पृथा),
माझ्या पायांचा तुला स्पर्श करीत आहे, तरी तू मला क्षमा कर.
Hey, goddess Lakshmi, the sea is your palace, mountains are your body. You are God Vishnu’s wife. We want to touch your feet and say sorry to excuse our mistakes. We walk on the earth every day. We need to thank mother earth for allowing us to live on this land. Here, in this maxim, the writer suggests that this earth is nothing but a form of the goddess and we should pray to her.
